with the information and skills that will allow them to achieve in a global economy.
The MJHS Media Center strives to prepare our 21st Century Learners to be critical
thinkers, enthusiastic readers, skilled researchers and ethical citizens.

ACT/SAT Prep from 3:45 - 4:45 on Wednesdays

General Information
Hours and Access:
Students have access to the Media Center from 8:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. each day. Students may come before school or at any time during the school day as long as they have a pass from a teacher. Every student who enters the Media Center must present their pass to the front desk and sign in. Students who are in the Media Center are expected to be reading or working - idle students will be asked to return to class.
Students may checkout 2 books at a time for a period of 2 weeks.
Students with overdue books will be asked to bring those back before they check out any others. All students must pay for any books that are not returned before they can graduate from MJHS.
Computer Use Guidelines:
Students have access to computers in the Media Center and are expected to abide by the Acceptable Use Policy for Atlanta Public Schools. Student printing is limited to 5 pages per day and is for school work only - no personal printing.
Lost or Damaged Materials:
Students are responsible for the replacement of all lost, stolen or damaged media center materials they check out. The cost of the lost or stolen materials will be the current library-bound purchase price. Students who return damaged books may be assessed charges depending on the severity of the damage.
